Yeah, people think that teachers are overpaid and the job is so easy and they don't work enough hours and yet there are still 353 job openings in mcps right now

If you would like to trade, I can offer you regular 10 hour days and an additional 10-12 hours each weekend. That’s my life as a teacher.

Teachers are paid to work 195 days per year and typically have to get summer jobs or 2nd jobs to supplement since the world is designed for people who get paid to work for ~250 days per year. While having a break in the middle of the week is certainly nice, it’s not a paid break.
