I agree that's a rough neighborhood, but if you really work on housing policy how do you not know James creek, syphax, and carrolsburg are public housing not section 8? I would still rather live there than Bellevue or Wellington park though because at least you're close to the metro and more jobs and the schools are better.

I think Congress heights is substantially undervalued. For the proximity and views you have to more than an hour northwest in no traffic to get something comparable.
