NP - That's good advice. Folks who talk about talent being equal on Rec/Travel don't appreciate the fact that while that may be true for some kids, Rec play lacks any structure at all. DD would crush any Rec player and she's not stellar. Still playing Div I NCSL but it's not like she is a rock star. I get you OP. While DD doesn't want to go the mile and play top team at her club, she also cannot stomach playing Rec. She's just at a different level and has zero desire to play Rec. I don't have the answers because likely we would do the same and get out of Club and find something in between Rec/Travel. But there's nothing that I've seen at U13 for this anywhere close to us. I think that a lower level team in NCSL will at least still have some structure with an actual certified coach and not as much pressure.
