Hm, not sure how Loudon didn’t play McLean Green in either Fall or Spring regular season, but looks like they had -25 goal differential.
Loudoun 2 in state of VA.. Mclean is 6th.

This is correct for Pre-ecnl if you discount the forfeits.
Rankings App, which is based on league and tournament play (GotSport rankings are based on GotSport events alone), has McLean #8 in nation, Loudoun #30, Bethesda #37, SYC #39, and Arlington #107.
This season, Loudoun lost to McLean 1-3 and 0-1 at Loudoun Premier Cup and 2-3 at OBGC Capital Cup. McLean had a rough time in the top division at Jeff Cup (perhaps suggesting that the #8 national ranking wouldn’t survive a few games against teams from CA), but they are mostly breezing through the competition in the DMV / Baltimore region. Only Loudoun, Bethesda, and SYC are giving them any difficulty locally. Arlington is a clear step below that group.
You weren't kidding about Jeff Cup, but the worst loss was 5-0 to Old Line (I understand one result isn't an indictment and the weather at Jeff Cup was horrible, but that's a pretty big loss for a team regularly winning by 7+ goals).

most teams try to lock in their ace’s early (even if they have new plans for them)to keep them from other teams. So yes they nust tell ur kid to keep mouths shutAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I got an offer after the first day of tryouts.
How frequently does this happen? Do they fill most of the spots after the first tryout?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How good do coaches and parents of Arlington’s top 2013G team think they are relative to the top teams at McLean, Loudoun, SYC, and Bethesda? If your DD wants to play ECNL the following season and ultimately play in college, should she take an offer from one of those other teams over one from Arlington?
Isn’t the top 2013G team at McLean ranked high nationally? I recall them being very good. I imagine they may be the only McLean team that will not lose players to Arlington this year.
Totally different story on the boys side. We had like every McLean boy at Arlington tryouts for the boy teams.
