My kid is an A/B student who got into every school he applied to, mostly state flagships. With merit at most, too.

Oh. My. God.

If you are on the east coast, you might get get a geographic bump that will help at west coast schools, where those grades won’t get you in? Santa Clara, University of San Diego, Loyola Marymount. Three terrific experiences.

Elon and College of Charleston are other possibilities. UMW, CNU, SMCM. Delaware, Pittsburgh. SUNY schools. Lots of options for A/B students, almost too many to name.

Private HS 3.75+uw GPA:
ED1 and 2 at WashU/Emory
USC/Colgate/Lehigh/ Bucknell/U-Miami/ BC/ Tufts also add in Wisconsin/Michigan (super reach bc of GPA)
