A Varsity player did bear crawls resulting in a firing? Don't get me wrong, coach misconduct can be very serious and at times dangerous, but unless this was hundreds of yards of crawls, hard to see how this elevates to dismissals.

OMG. I'm a woman soccer player from the 80s who was made to run without water in 90+ degree heat for mistakes and at practice we had to run head first into soccer balls launched at us by male college soccer players that helped coach--if we flinched or ducked we were made to do wind sprints endlessly until girls threw up.
I realize the above was pretty idiotic ^^---but bear crawls for HS males got a guy fired? And it's SPRING--it hasn't even been frickin' hot.
