Subject: ISL Lax division system?
I feel bad for the Bullis families b/c they sooo want to be on the map like the boys. Time for the family who wants to control the program to step aside, has not worked well for their 2 girls. The BLC Capital alignment has not worked for them, nor has it brought success to Bullis. Let the AD get a better coach, whose other coaching job is not with 4th graders. The school has the $ for national search for the best. Maybe they can convince Chris Robinson to back North. 😂 HS success and HS championships are where the memories are made, and where girls still develop. There is a reason the UNC coach moved her daughter to play at McD her final 2 years. And IAAM has two levels with the same move up and down rules. Great ISL championship game.

As other posters mentioned, field hockey is not played at every school (which is why the combined bracket for that sport). And, there are other sports in the ISL as someone also reminded us. World doesn’t revolved around lacrosse.
Schools are free to schedule as many non-League games as they want. Nothing preventing teams from scheduling who they believe will be competitive opponents. That would be much better than forcing the entire ISL to play each other every year. And much better than forming a lacrosse only conference. ISL has a lot of history and has been around a lot time while high school programs rise and fall.
Exactly. The complaining in this thread is myopic and stupid. The ISL works incredibly well just as it is.

There is only one tier for field hockey because not all the schools have field hockey. They do all have lacrosse. Having only one tier for the sports with a wide difference in skill would make for a miserable experience for everyone. There’s no need to make any changes. Nope. They all have field hockey. And what's the difference if schools like Maret and Episcopal lose at the bottom of a six-team tier or a 12-team tier? The smaller tiers are silly. And, make no sense.
Meant to say Madeira. And it did make me realize, there are a few who don't have it, but still, not sure why it makes a difference. It would make for a lot better competition for all the teams in the middle.
