Don’t know if anyone can answer that but if the coach is going to bring over his own players, the top third or half of the existing team are probably safe. If your kid is on the bubble, maybe talk to coaches at other clubs.

Since that age group is going from 7v7 to 9v9, each team seems to add a few players. Some is just moving kids up but still creates a spot on a lower team. In my experience this means 12-15 new kids.
