I find it weirdly interesting. Do you think she’s secretly miserable? Incredibly happy? Smug and self satisfied? Do you think she wanted that many children or is just doing it because it’s what’s expected of her? They have oodles of money but live in a very bare farmhouse. Is it just for the aesthetic or are they actually committed to the lifestyle?

That's their studio house. Just for photoshoots and filming. They actually live in a modern, luxury mansion.

Is that actually true? I don’t think so.

Pioneer woman built a house for filming too.

Yes, but she was always up front about that. She called it The Lodge and it was clear if you watch a few episodes that it’s a separate building on their property.

The Ballerina Farm family, if they don’t in fact live where they shoot their content, is lying.

I was wondering if she had a different home because it is SO unfinished - there is no paint, it looks so bare. It is incredibly messy (but that is 8 kids for you I guess). She never shows a bedroom or anything. I think she has two houses on the property and the more rural one she shoots content in and makes bread and all that and that must be closer to where the barns are. The nice property is probably further away from the livestock.

Same. It's a rich girl putting her kids in gunny sacks and acting like she works on a farm 14 hours a day. Who cares?

I'm one of the PPs and follow their storyline pretty closely because I'm ex-LDS. I've never heard the mansion part although it's certainly plausible. Without any receipts though, it's probably not true.

The "ranch" was up for sale a couple years ago and they said they were moving. That didn't pan out and I've always wondered why.

They don't live there full time - it's an alternate house the they "camp" in for the "esthetics."

Are you just guessing this because you don't believe she would actually live there our are you basing this on something? I think they live their full time (when they aren't traveling to Las Vegas or Hawaii or France). She gave birth in the tub there multiple times!

Spill the tea!!!!!

Yeah, seriously!!

Yep, super boring. I literally can't get through a video. She's kinda pretty but also just a skinny blonde white lady...

I’m having a hard time with the conflicting values on their life. Striving for money and attention doesn’t jive with a “simple” or “godly” life. I guess if they give away most of their money that would make sense but there’s no explanation for attention seeking on social media.

I do not think she's all that attractive. And anyone can have 8 children. My great grandmother had 13. Next.

I find the self-promotion to be weird and anti-christian but then mormons aren't christian (look it up before you react! I am right!)
