I get this add too and can't scroll past. However I am not getting this ad at other websites. It is equally annoying and ginormous but I can scroll past it, so it must be how the ad is working with this site in particular.

Okay, I finally got shots of all of the screens of the St Augustine ad. It fills the entire screen and has 3 pages, it just scrolls between the 3 pages.

Page 1 is:

Page 2 is:

And page 3 is:

It is very annoying. On my Samsung Galaxy S20 with Chrome as the browser, it fills the entire screen, and just scrolls between the three images. I have to close the browser and restart to get past it.

On my Win10 laptop with Chrome, it fills the window (not the screen) and scrolls between the three images, but I can still his the reload button in the browser and it will reload the page I am on without me having to kill and restart the browser.

The problem is that you reload and after 15-20 seconds, it returns. I get it about 5 times in 2 minutes before I get a longer break of maybe 10 minutes before it returns.

Today I got an ad that covered the whole site. I couldn't scroll past it up or down. I had to close the website and reopen it.

FWIW, I have been diligently reporting every one of these using #audit. Hopefully that helps.

Clearing DCUM cookies wouldn't really do anything because the cookies are probably being put through ad redirects and are coming from other domains. One thing you might try is using another browser temporarily. If you are using Chrome, try Firefox or Edge. That would have completely different cookies.

Still happening to me on desktop. Filling the entire screen.

I suspect the problem may be with how the ads are structured into the website, no the ad itself, but I am not sure. I am not ont chrome, by the way, but on a Microsoft browser.

Even though I have not seen any of these ads about which everyone here is complaining, I take the issue very seriously. I have just authorized our ad partner to implement very aggressive measures that will have a significant negative revenue impact, at least initially. Hopefully, this will help resolve the ad problem.

If I can provide something that can be used to identify the problematic ad, normally it is removed within a couple of days. This time, posters have described a number of ads, but only two screenshots have been provided. So, other than those two, it may take a while.

I normally use Safari on a Mac and have not seen a single one of these ads. I switched to using Chrome because several users said they were using that. I still have not seen one of these ads. Had I not seen this thread and anyone asked me, I would say we don't have a problem with ads. I know this is not the answer that you want to hear, but I'm just being honest.

Do you have ad blocking software? I am on Chrome and I am getting these on both my Mac at home and my Dell at work, so I don't understand how you're avoiding them. They're rendering the site basically unusable for me. I don't even mind ads, but these can't be closed and take up the whole screen!

No, of course I don't have ad blocking software. I want to see the ads on my website. Could you try clearing your cookies and see if that makes a difference? I learned yesterday that advertisers have an easier time targeting Chrome than Safari, so you might be getting these ads because it is easier to target you. I have found that once you get an ad, you keep getting them. So far, however, I haven't got one.
