As it stated, both the Washington Jewish Week and the Jewish Community Relations Council have sharply criticized Raskin. During these times, I want a leader who supports Israel.
Raskin is supporting Israel, Israelis, and the future of Israel, by opposing further military aid for Netanyahu's war.
So what you’re saying is, Raskin wants to destroy Israel to save Israel.
Got it.
Is that what you think the Israelis who oppose Netanyahu are saving?
What I'm saying is that Netanyahu's war will destroy Israel.
Raskin can speak for himself - and does.
Most Israelis now oppose Netanyahu, but they also support freeing the hostages, defeating Hamas terrorists, defending their country against Iran and Hizbollah attacks….and making peace with the Palestinians, once these give up “from the river to the sea” fantasies. Listen to the interview with opposition leader Lapid on NYT podcast. Raskin is throwing pro-peace Israel under the bus, which is why the major Jewish voices in his district have just spoken against him. I predict there will be a significant protest vote on May 14, bigger than the uncommitted protest vote against Biden.

If there is a similar or bigger protest vote against Raskin for opposing Israel and Ukraine aid, it is also a story
Raskin did not oppose Ukraine aid. He supported it.
NY Times indicates he voted no on the whole package https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/04/20/us/politics/ukraine-israel-foreign-aid-vote.html
The article you link to shows that he voted yes on aid to Ukraine.
As I understand it, I could be wrong, it says that Raskin voted yes in principle to aid for Ukraine, but voted no to the actual funding package…so he (like Gaetz and Boebert) voted at the end of the day against funding
Yes, you're wrong. Read the article you posted.
Re-read it. Says Raskin voted against “Rule (whole pakage)”
