Was this Cooper or 2nd street?
2nd-- it's gone down 7 spots today. Cooper dropped a few spots too. As did SWW@FS.
Interesting. It looks like for so many years they didn't offer more than a spot or two (sometimes none) for 6th. 5th hasn't moved much for any place at all for us, including there.

I'm hoping the ITDS list moves for 6th.
Hard to say, but it usually does.

I apologize for what might be a dumb question about Basis. I've read that they don't take many 6th graders, does this include those low in the waitlist? I'm very new to all of this. So if a child is a rising 6th grader and #50 waitlisted. do they still not have a chance? Is it because all of the spots will be given to 5th graders?

People sho prioritize education turn down Latin.
But why apply in the first place? I get it that all of DC has sub-par education compared to the amazing suburbs of Ann Arbor or whatever.
BUT if you are a DC resident and are playing the lottery and also dropping cash on private school applications, why are you suddenly not taking the spot?
