I have a friend who got a desk bike and who has had a lot of health gains from it. I tried it and found it easier to ride and read on a screen because vision field is more stable than when walking. It's a bit easier to type, too. Not a pedaler, it has a seat that subs for a desk chair. So, think about what you will want to do when using the equipment to get the best fit.
