It is nearly impossible to find the same as Davidson but in a bigger size. You need to prioritize which factors make Davidson most appealing and look for as many of those factors in another university.

Duke, WashU, Northwestern, ND, Rice.

All this schools are significantly harder admits than Davidson. And yes, I know the boosters will quote the acceptance rate but the average admitted student stats will be lower.

Admissions quoted a 12.5% admit rate for the class of 2028. That’s right in line with ND and WashU. DS also admitted to ND so we got that stat, too.

liked the vibe and academic offerings at Davidson the most, but now it's Junior year and I feel like we're getting short on time to see things.

high stats student. reaches will be t10 schools. merit would be great .

American University. Probably less than 10k students.

We considered Davidson, Washington and Lee, And William and Mary Then took them all off the list either because the school itself is minuscule (Davidson and Washington and Lee) And the town is also a snooze fest (All three schools)

If not Vanderbilt then Wake.

You must not have considered very hard as Winston Salem is gross.

If it is 10-15k, it won't be Davidson-ish then. Washington College in MD? Don't know student size there look it up.

Wash Coll MD is even smaller than Davidson, around 1k.

Agree with this, but Wake and Richmond don’t give out much merit, they don’t need to. W&L has a good number of merit scholarships.

Richmond gives out a sperm load of merit if you have top stats.

That must be a happy ending for some.
