DC required to put full names of friends in their phone and add parent contact number to the notes section as well. If they don’t then they don’t communicate with them.

Are any of the kids involved on a sports team or in a band concert or play, somewhere there would be a semi-public record of their names? Was there ever an open house with a posted list of names of kids by home room, etc.? Some PTAs do have directories. Does the school have a FB page?

I think your best bet, however, is to look at your kids' phone. Do you have the password?

NP. You people are insane. There is so much crazy stuff going on these days, from dangerous social media “challenges” to online predators to teenage crime and theft to early and very unsafe sexual behavior, I’d 100% want to at least hear what any parent had to say.

Contact info is now opt-in not opt-out since more and more families wish to keep their addresses private. The days of the white pages and school directories disappeared years ago.

If you're serious about this, likely your only resources are yearbooks from last school year and an online PTA member directory (or Facebook group).

Both are not likely to work out, but those are the minimum set resources that are likely to exist.

If you know any other parents, you could ask them.
