I don’t feel like I’m that much of a prude but I’m just not super comfortable with that for teenager (even if they are in college). I can’t really put my finger on why. People keep saying they are adults but they really aren’t.

I’m having a similar issue in that we are getting a beach house and told each of our kids they could invite 1-3 friends. My 18 year old invited two friends who are dating, and I don’t want to put them in the same room although she says when they went to the other friends beach house the girl’s parents were fine with it. I don’t want to feel like I’m running a flip house for teenager.

Anyway, OP, I think whichever choice you make is fine and reasonable.

The only reason I would ever consider larger beds would be if they were significantly taller than average.

My wife and I had plenty of sex on her twin bed at her parents house when we were in college.

Let them sleep in the same room. They are adults.
