I wrote that there are some nutrients that your body cannot access unless you cook the food. That doesn't mean those are essential amino acids, and it doesn't mean you can't eat a lot more to compensate for the fact you aren't getting as much of some things from raw as from cooked food.

But it does mean your admonition not to cook food is one of those things that makes sense as an article of faith more than reflection of science.

For $30, have the company purchase this microwave detector. He can use it whenever he wants and if the alarm is triggered, he can take a photo of the detector on his phone and submit to HR. He can run scans when people are microwaving their lunch and report any alarms that go off.

If the microwave triggers the alarm, then the microwave needs to be replaced.
