Great. So MCPS staff are carrying ghost guns too. It's not just the students.
Isn't this their 2nd amendment right as an American?
He can own it, but can't have it on school property.
He cannot own a ghost gun legally in Maryland: https://wtop.com/prince-georges-county/2024/04/ghost-guns-are-already-illegal-sharing-the-tech-and-instructions-behind-the-isnt-for-now/
If it was a legally manufactured and registered firearm, then what you are saying would be accurate. But ghost guns? No.
Technically you can still have a ghost gun if you register it. (No idea if this guy's was or not.)

You...you think someone planted a gun in his car and then called the police?
Oh boy....
Sounds like PP thinks it could happen. I do too. Doesn't mean that's the only explanation we believe. Something sparked that search and unless he had it sitting on the front seat, he had to give permission for the search with no warrant. (free lesson: NEVER CONSENT TO A SEARCH EVER. NEVER.)

That sort of action should come with a lifetime ban of ever working in schools.
No such thing. Probation and then record expunged. All good.
Record expunged for an adult?
Why?

A building service manager at Forest Oak Middle School in Gaithersburg was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having a loaded ghost gun on campus, the Gaithersburg Police Department said in a Wednesday release.
William Broadus Coleman, 30, of Washington, was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded handgun and possession of a dangerous weapon on school property, according to police.
On Tuesday, around 12:24 p.m., Gaithersburg Police Community Engagement Officers responded to the middle school at 651 Saybrooke Oaks Blvd. for the report of a staff member who possessed a firearm, the statement said. Officers approached Coleman and searched his vehicle, finding a loaded ghost gun, police said.
