Yuck! No.
Are you a child?
No, but praying to God is childish, because God isn't real. It's like believing in Santa!
+1. Start an Xmas list for Santa maybe?
me:
Nap. A lot.
So much more sex w DH.
Netflix.
More massages.
Treadmill and hiking.
Finding out wtf people like yoga/and wtf it does for them because it's okay and all but I am not feeling 'it'. Same for meditating. If I do it enough maybe I will unlock a cheat code or level up? **
Deep cleaning and de-hoarding kids clothes and toys.
Cleaning and organizing closets.
Gardening and Home Improvement. Lots of it.
Cook/learn to cook **
Repainting anything that needs to look more fresh.
Mapping out vacations and travel ideas.
Surfing internet.
Pick up a couple more instruments or languages. If resources permitted I'd spend the $ I currently spend on kids hobbies on this.
Learn a weird skill **
Starting a social media account for my weird pet. I have no interest in initiating social media, but I get sent way less entertaining tiktoks and IGs from friends so his weirdness needs to get out there. **
** Indicates I have little to no interest in actually doing this item. Not saying I have done all these things but this would be my shortlist. Not looking forward to empty nesting- but I am years away. I think I'd rather start on some of these now so it doesn't feel so lonely do do it when the kids are all out!
