It’s not rowdy before sundown, it doesn’t really get rowdy until the drunk movies come out much later.
Plus OC boardwalk has always been trashy, fringed belly shirts, tattoos and piercings have been OC for as long as I can remember, but that’s part of what makes it amusing.
It’s a public beach, not the country club. I wouldn’t live there but makes for good people watching and a fun evening.

I’m also going to need to know more about horse smile.
Yes, that caught my attention!
I hope they have never seen reruns of Mr. Ed!
I’m pretty sure OP meant “horse smell.” Probably a typo, and not all DCUM posters are native English speakers.

Anonymous wrote:The Carousel hotel has always been a place for families. It’s in north OC and has pools and a playground. The property is dated, but no more so than plenty of other hotels. Take the city bus down to the boardwalk one day from about 2-6. Go to an arcade, eat some fries, maybe you and DH grab a drink, then clear out. Two family friendly restaurants near Carousel are Original Crabcake Factory and Dumsers. Nick’s Dino Golf is nearby.

I’d stay at the Hilton or Aloft.
The boardwalk due in no the day will be fun. I would not go after dinner.
There is Alley oops, bowling, indoor putt putt and indoor ice skating if it rains.
There are a ton of things to do with kids.
The Rocket is a boat ride, there is a boat that takes kids to search for sand crabs, jolly rogers, you can rent kayaks or wave runners, you can do a fishing trip for 2 hours, rent bikes, endless summer has surf lessons for kids, there are fishing tournaments and it’s fun to see the boats come in with their catch.
For her young kids, Funland in Rehoboth is perfect and definitely not boring.
Ocean City is wall to wall drunks and weed smell.

Anonymous wrote:OP you don't want Ocean City you should go to Rehoboth.
You can park your car walk to everything you need. Much more family oriented.
Much cleaner.
Much easier to navigate with kids as it is smaller.
Bethany is too small. Rehoboth is just right.

What is wrong with you?
Have you ever been to one of those playgrounds? If you have and you see no problem with the little wildlings then you to might have a little Chucky 1, 2, and 3. Maybe more than one…
