I have been on both sides of this.

My child once broke something small in a rental condo- I contacted the owner apologizing and offering to replace it and they said don’t worry.

I now own a rental myself. I - or my cleaners- would absolutely notice if a lamp was broken. I would not charge you to replace an item under $250 or so, it’s just the cost of doing business. But if you ruined my couch, broke my tv or another large appliance, I would withhold the deposit and/or reach out to the rental platform and file a claim. Either way I would appreciate the heads up.

This. Or buy a new one at Walmart. We broke some glasses at an AirBNB and just bought new ones at the grocery. They were very thin glasses, obviously.

Look at the label and see if you can order a replacement of same exact lamp. Pretty easy to buy online and have it delivered to the house.
