I am the poster. Lunch wasn't provided at my HS. After 5 lunches, maybe 2-3 afterschool snacks (im talking fries at mcdonalds with my friends), and then hanging out in the weekend, there was nothing left. I think i skipped lunch once or twice a week because i KNEW i wanted to go to the movie theater on the weekend, and a movie ticket was 2 lunches, or I really wanted a new tshirt and thats 2 lunches right there. I absolutely still got a part time job to supplement my allowance AND i learned to value every dollar.
