The middle child never ever brings his umbrella back home. He apparently thinks its disposable, which is why we told him that today is his last umbrella. He can get wet or buy future umbrellas with his own money.
This line made me LOL, sorry. "Your last umbrella" sounds like a good name for a band.
FWIW, my high schooler won't be caught dead with an umbrella either, beats me why. What's so cool about sitting all day in wet and wet-smelling clothes?
