Anonymous wrote:We are OOS and DC chose VT because of the engineering program, school spirit, and beautiful surroundings. Made friends, likes Blacksburg, studies hard. Would have been content anywhere but very happy at VT. As a parent, I really enjoy the town since it is walkable and has a lot of things to do in a compact area. I think some people visit and fall in love (or not), so definitely walk around the campus and town. P.S. We live far away where no one cares about UVA vs VT.

The feeling of community is unmatched. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t cherish their time as a Hokie.
