You never go hungry working in a hotel. Try getting a job at the Ritz-Carlton in Tyson.

Yes, I'm young, I live in Tysons and am cheap.

Work in a nursing home you get free meals but they're mostly a small bowl of soup.

That hat is so ugly I bet it comes with a free bowl of soup!

Get a job that puts you on the road 3-4 days per week. Forget free in-office meals; per diem and racking up travel points/status are where you get great personal value. Even better if you can live with family and pay minimal/no rent for the days you are in the DC area. Or do some sort of apartment share where you split the rent with someone who is in DC on the weekdays and goes back home on the weekends.

Focus on a nutrient dense breakfast (think eggs and meat) and fast until dinner. Fasting and eating highly nutritious foods will keep you healthier and are easier on the wallet.

Lmao. I feel this. I work for the government and I pack my own lunch (I’m not giving downtown dc a cent). Having in-work food like my wife does sounds great.

This is such a weird thing to prioritize. I’m cheap too which is why I would rather just be paid more.

Ritz Carlton has a chef make the employees lunch and dinner. Free. Different menu daily.

Ok, I'll add one since everyone is bashing OP.

Try Facebook. They are big on perks like this. I think Google cut back on free grub but that could depend on the location.

In sorry what

Your salary is what offers lunch

There’s no such thing as a free lunch

Pack your lunch like the rest of people

However capital one does have cafeteria at a subsidized rate however that’s not an indicator of if you should work there
