Trump being a former president and a current candidate is in a different league because of his 74+ million voters. Some local judge can’t shut down a political movement, as much as he’d like to.
Trump is a defendant, not a political movement.
None of this legal action would be happening if he did not represent a political movement.
None of this legal action would be happening if he hadn’t tried to be a political movement despite cheating on his third wife and his simultaneous Playboy Playmate mistress with a porn star while the aforesaid third wife was home with his newborn son, while he wanted to use an illegally large campaign donation to cover that up, BIT HERE WE ARE.

Prediction. 1st offense, a huge fine. 2nd offense, straight to Jail.
Ah yes, jail the opposition. When exactly did we become a banana republic?
Trump is not Judge Marchan’s opposition.
New York would be a lot better off if its judges spent their efforts putting violent criminals behind bars rather than trying to muzzle prominent politicians they don’t like.
In this case, the point is that when Trump talks about people involved in his court case, his followers become violent. When Trump badmouths witnesses, attorneys on the other side, judges, etc, those people get death threats and stalked or get swatted. Trump encourages violence.
If he didn't encourage violence and threats, then he wouldn't be gagged. He has a history of trying to intimidate his legal opponents and the judicial system with violence from his MAGA followers. So, the gag order is justified in this case.
I think statistics will show that the Trump-supporting regions of the country are a lot less violent than the places that don’t vote for him.

You don't have the right to incite violence or harm to others in this country. It is a crime and does not fall under free speech.
Your typical leftist today views all speech he doesn’t like to be violence. So of course Trump must be muzzled.
