It's almost like NWSL is barely a professional league
This is not the first time an illegal substitute entered the field at Audi in a professional soccer match. The same thing happened in 2020 - in a DC United match.

I don't expect much until after June when the coach arrives. Did not and have not seen much that screams to me that a new style is being implemented.

I admit the first 20 mins of the game I was really missing Staab, and we may still miss her, but having the two rooks score goals was pretty cool.

The three of them showed enough to be rostered for U17 WC duty, whether it happens or not will be another thing. I'd bet at least one will be.
Showed enough against concacaf teams that couldn't beat our local club teams? they had to cut the tournament down to 8 teams because the other countries can't field competitive teams and the US still won the games by an embarrassing amount. There is zero pressure in those games. This is a big problem going forward as the European countries develop and play competitive matches to qualify.
That's a problem the federation should handle. The teams can only play who is in front of them, they showed enough against who they were slated to play. I agree that they weren't tested enough, but who they play is out of the players control.

Again, all of the girls that are picked are good players. Simply pointing out the influence is obvious. Some people just have the inside track to the right relationships. The games in Mexico weren't even competitive which is a problem for the US as they try and develop players to win the world cup.
