+1
You have an anxiety problem.

I'm having such anxiety about the rushed timing, or if he gets sick and can't visit when he plans and him not being able to decide. I can't believe it's come down ot the wire. He has travel and a senior spring break trip and then a sports thing he doesn't want to miss first weekend in April. Do these second visits and/or tours once they're admitted really help seal the deal? He visited both a year ago w just us went out briefly. The return visits are for games, meeting kids in frat, one seeing tour of business school, and I guess just more overnight w kids who are students there.

Wdym? Why is this so crazy? I def have more anxiety than the average person but not sure why it's that crazy I'm strsssed. It's a huge decision that's down to a matter of days to decide. Or is my anxiety really clouding this?

Practice if you need to -
how can I help with that ....
what a great idea ....
I like how your are thinking about this decision...
Let's go out for dinner and put up the sign - no talking about college decisions...

Anonymous wrote:Is your son feeling panicked also? It sounds like he has friends to stay with at one or both of the schools? I think connecting with those kids and their friends will help a lot. UGA and UW are really similar in a lot of ways, but will have noticeable differences when you visit. Those visits will help a lot.
Does your son know where he wants to end up after graduation? Is one closer to home than the other? UW would be more geographically diverse since their enrollment is closer to 50/50 in state/out of state, where UGA is 80/20. That might make a difference to him?
Tough choice, but a win no matter what he picks!
