Attractive, successful, nice personality guy here. I’ve never had attractive women “directly” ask me out but there have been a few instances where it has certainly felt like I was asked out. I’m in my early 50s, happily married now so no one is asking me out now.

Normally that happens with 5s men who are rejected by 10s women. In 10/1 ratio

As a woman, I prefer to pick my men. Somehow if I chose him myself, he seems more attractive/desirable vs guys who go overboard with pursuing me. But I do expect reciprocity, e.g. if the man I "date" is not equally invested, or tries to behave like he's a big D who can get anyone, I bail out.

Yes, it's very typical for attractive women (who know they rarely get rejected) to proactively pursue men. Famous actresses, beautiful women in leadership positions are like that
