I certainly can’t lose 5 lbs in a week (53 year old and 5”2”) as my tdee is already c 1400 calories and I already exercise regularly and am careful with diet…::BUT I can definitely get a flatter belly and feel a bit more toned by cutting alcohol, bread/pasta/crackers, upping water, my core exercises and arm weights.
I think if you up your exercise game and cut unnecessary stuff (sugar alcohol refined carbs) you’ll feel better and your clothes will fit well. Scale doesn’t really matter.
