Yes. TM imploded from top to bottom. Arrogant owner, arrogant and ineffective coaches and us many parents (myself included) wised up. And above poster dissing on Donnellan has no idea what he/she is talking about. He was the only thing TM had going for it. TM’s loss for sure. WLC is lucky to have him.
You know, I am really surprised that more people do not seem to be aware of said owner’s track record in wider business matters which made me not want to go anywhere near anything that he’s involved in.
My kid isn’t AAA material so that makes it easier to avoid that whole scene, but that person does have his tentacles nearly everywhere around here that relates to hockey.

I know a few went to Junior Flyers, a few to Little Caps. But I don’t know what the typical movement between these clubs was in previous years to compare to.
WLC not playing in top divisions for many age groups. Might as well play AA.
I don’t know anything about the options for divisions. But my son is looking to try out for WLC next year. He’s a 2011. Could you give me a quick lesson on the devisions and how to compare them?

Maybe at the younger levels, but the U18 team made it to Nationals this year. At least from a competitive standpoint, I'd hardly call that imploding.

Yes. U18 did well. I will clarify. I’m talking U14 and down. 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 all predictably imploded for various reasons. Ineffective and arrogant coaching, increased fees for less ice time, broken off ice program as an excuse to grab increased fees, and no high school hockey rule. It became obvious that TM could care less about the success or development of its younger teams and just a money grab to fund its Juniors program that 99.9 percent of TM players will not be selected for.
TM18 had billets and was only 50s in the rankings. SE District was a joke and TM went winless at Nationals. WLC was so bad they had Ashburn 2 kids on team. Tier 1 is a joke around here. TM's solution is to double down on billets. Total crap given owner's kid played for St Alban's and really didn't do much against the strong MAPHL teams.

Where did the kids from these teams go? Are they now playing AA?
