If you’re feeding men one little 8 inch square pan of corn bread will not be enough.

For an 8.5 ounce package of Jiffy mix, use 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1 large egg, and 1 tbs. melted butter instead of the 1 egg and 1/3 cup milk called for on the package. So much better this way!

My husband actually prefers them plain.

But use milk instead of water.

You can add bit of corn (frozen, fresh, creamed).

You can add jalapeño or top each with a slice.

You can drizzle with hot honey.

You can add cheese to the mix or put it on top.
