I'd say no. If any of their relatives (or yours) call or reach out about this I'd say "we are adults and have handled this directly with Margo and Phil. DH and I aren't discussing this with the family at large." And then any time any relative asks either of you say something about sports. EVERY time.

Stop engaging with all of them. Do not answer phone calls or texts. Just let them fade into oblivion.

Make sure to read up on on local squatter rules. If they start receiving mail at this address with their name you may struggle to evict

Then they’ll treat you like the hotel staff., they’ll expect a fridge stocked with food..they’ll blame you for any bed bug problem they bring.
