His assistant coach Parnell seems to be the likely successor. That would make the most sense but I’m just speculating.

DeMatha wound up hiring Judah Cooks as head coach and Parnell is the new director of soccer programming. Haven't had much interaction with Judah yet, but Parnell has been amazing.

My kids have met and talked to both coaches (Judah and Parnell) and like them a lot.

I think Parnell is heading the DM club team which will now be Bethesda Royals and I think judah is also involved with that club. Can anyone verify? I thought he came from a Virginia club but I’m assuming he left that completely to coach at DM.

In any event, I know both coaches are well liked by the kids they’ve coached in the past and DM is competitive in WCAC and hopefully they stay that way.
