Is she screaming at you or pretend playing?

If she is in her room “playing”, I would just ignore assuming she is ready to go to school on time.

I have a 7yo daughter and it is hard to imagine someone screaming for no reason in the morning. I have a friend whose daughter can’t get up and ready in time and they fight but that doesn’t sound like what is happening in your house.

My 10 DD with ADHD inattentive screams most every morning (and often in the evening, but mornings are the worst). Nothing really seems to help. I avoid her as much as possible and try to get my DH to deal with her. Agree a lot of the approaches mentioned here don't work with ADHD kids

Otherwise, she needs to stop screaming.

Believe me, this worked for my kid. Lots of sleep, time to get ready, and a good breakfast also help.

Lol maybe non of you have a kid with ADHD. Treating the ADHD helps a bit but my 8yo is still a ball of HUGE emotions.

+1. ADHD or anxiety. What other behaviors are there, OP?
