The Ivy family has way too much power in PG politics. Her son is a prime example of nepotism and is completely unqualified for his job. They sent out a terrible letter a few years ago supporting a mayoral candidate in Cheverly, I think that it swayed the election because people were so disgusted.
I went to school with Jolene's son, Julian. He wasn't umm, how do I say, the most civic-minded back then. Mutual friends tell me that much hasn't changed since HS.
