Same here, OP. I believe it is nature’s way of telling me I should not eat baby animals. Veal also makes me ill.

Undercooked?

I think lamb is often served rare and maybe you had some that needed to be cooked more thoroughly?

Get an IgE blood test done for Lamb. Your family practice doctor can order it and prescribe Epipen if needed. Allergist appointment will take 3+ months to get.

Most lamb in the stores seems to be from NZ and Australia. It’s very gamey and inedible in my household. If we really want lamb we get it from local farms. Not sure if it would make a difference for you, probably not if it’s an allergy.

It may be something in the crab shell that you are allergic to. Or something else in the boil?

You don’t need testing. You are allergic to this food. No, “it” is not a protein present in all meats. Proteins are present in most foods, some people are allergic to some of them, and you are allergic to something in lamb. For God’s sake stop eating it before you end up in full anaphylaxis.

Please come be my pun friend! I drive my kids crazy with puns. This is top notch.

Sorry to derail from helping OP!
I have a very sensitive stomach (always have) and after having my gallbladder removed a lot of foods trip me up. Seems like a normal day and all the sudden I’m in the bathroom for hours.

i wondered this exact thing like, a week and a half ago, and wondered if i was hallucinating it because it felt as if my intestines seized minutes after i took the first bite of lamb, which seemed prosperous. but the linked test says that some reactions can occur within minutes. maybe i'll take the blood test and see...
