I have the same car and it would be as likely as putting any car in reverse. The difference is that the gear shift is on a screen, but the icon starts in the center when in park. You slide it up about 3 inches to go forward and down about 3 inches to reverse. I can’t really see getting them mixed up. Also as soon as you put it in reverse, a ton of back up cameras (reverse and then 2 more screens pop up for each reverse side). It would be impossible to not know you were in reverse before you even took your foot off the brake.
Then it definitely sounds suspicious, how would she not put her foot back on if intending to go forward. The timing is strange with McConnell's change of heart
