They did not play Potomac Falls and PF is not a strong team. they played Battlefield and got crushed. Briar will struggle. The top teams are:

4. Independence
5. Dominion

How is this in accurate as Riverside just beat Madison?
Madison heavily beat riverside

Madison is a great team with depth that goes further than Riverside. Will still be a good game regardless. Report back how it goes.

Looks like not many people are giving Riverside a chance on Wednesday vs. Madison. Are the Warhawks just too good? I have watched Riverside play and dominate all of our Loudoun teams for years... Should I even bother going out to the game?

girls teams that have handful of strong players are woodgrove, riverside, indy, lightridge, stone bridge where any given day they could each make a run for states.

Each school has a handful of really good players. It’s the depth that kills all of them. A handful of players can only play strong for so long without a break.

Depending on how well Broad Run's new goalie plays they could be a surprise team and come out of LoCo 4A as the best team/make state finals (but Atlee is waiting to demolish anyone who plays them).

Dominion boys are way down this year. Dominion girls have no JV team/low numbers but have enough to win their district but not states.

Watching rock ridge go from great to hardly fielding a team was sad. Now, that’s dominion. Don’t think schools will be able to start legacies until the popping up of neighborhoods is complete in years to come, unfortunately.

Agree. It’s demolished hs sports with each new opening. Lightridge took Champe, PVI pulls from each of the local hs’s making it a very big deficit of top players. With the new hs opening near Indy, that will take from there and maybe lightridge.
Until the area can get caught up in families, it’s going to be a continuous lack in depth on all teams. And that might be years away.
PVI is taking talent from all over the county. Champe had talent taken from Independence and Light Ridge. Now there will be another HS built in 2028 not far from Independence. So it will be very difficult for these schools to build a legacy. I believe Rock Ridge did not have enough kids to field a team a couple years ago…
