It isn't surprising you won't see UVA on the list. I'm sure the average scores of those in the 25th percentile are pretty low considering they take in kids from all the counties.
Same thing for Michigan and North Carolina. On average those schools are going to have a much lower SAT average than the private schools.

UMD median score is 1445, not that much different to UVA. But since both are TO, it doesn't mean that much.

You can see what TO has done with NYU. Since they take such a large percentage TO, only the top scorers submit. Since only the top scorers submit, the average goes up. Only 32% sumbitted test scores in 2021-2022. I guess you might say that NYU has gamed the SAT score game.
