OP here, good question. We wanted to get away from DC for a few days and hear good things about Richmond. It seems you don't like it?
I think Richmond has some fun things to do with little ones, although it's been a while since we've been there with children. My kids are all driving now![]()
There is a farm exhibit at the Children's Museum that my kids liked, they liked looking at stuff in the science museum as they zoned in the stroller, there are some nice walks (by the river and the Lewis Gintner gardens (?)).
I'm surprised you're staying at the Linden Row Hotel. Is that the sort of place you usually stay with your baby? We found that good room service and a pool were pretty important elements of travel with kids. The big fancy hotel -- the Jefferson? I can't remember -- used to give little stuffed alligators to young guests.

Thanks much
Why do you need to know what to do or not to do? Not being snarky but your questuon is pretty broad. I think you don't need to crowd source your likes and dislikes?
