These are a huge trend in Italy right now
Still? Literally "right now"? Because I feel like Air Force 1s were a "huge trend" five years ago.
Anonymous wrote:I feel that there have been similar threads in this. But I am going to Italy in a couple weeks and trying to figure out shoes/sneakers. I will definitely wear sneakers a lot for the day.
I have white On sneakers, which seem like a bad choice since they will get very dirty (but they are so comfortable). I have Vejas which a less prone to get dirty—but slightly less comfortable. I have black adidas boost running shoes (very comfortable, not so stylish not black so maybe they blend in).
Or I could get something new. Suggestions for something that is super comfortable but looks never? I was thinking Sambas, but maybe not.

I stepped in mud once (with waterproof-ish tennis shoes) and a woman (another mom at kid event) next to me continuously pointed at it asking what I was going to do. I guess some people obsess about keeping the shoes clean but barring something terrible (like poop), I don't clean my sneakers either. It's better to be a shoe cleaner but I am always outside and hiking so it would be useless.
I would have told her that I planned to lick it off when no one else was looking.
Mmm hmm. Sure you would have.
