Can you say what made dc stand out? Do you think you know what it was?

In my experience, a lot of people talk about their kids perfect GPAs and they are not always perfect. That means schools accept a lot of kids without 4.0s

do you people not have Naviance or Scoir? It's all laid out, GPA, test score, result. Anonymous, but you can see what GPAs are getting in

Geographic diversity and SES diversity are factors, too, not just URMs, athletes, or legacies.

What types of ECs?

URM?

I’m the Yale poster - I absolutely do! This is a girl who sleeps at my house every weekend. Calm down.

DP. Why would you share GPA details about someone else's kid?

My 3.6 and 1540 was not a legacy, recruit or URM. And yes, the GPA was unweighted from a dc private that doesn’t weight.

How would you know any kid's GPA? Also famous kids will get into most schools -- free marketing for the school. That is a useless measure for regular kids.

Many Brown kids have perfect or near perfect GPAs and high test scores. CDS would provide more detail. Mine did not have perfect (had a couple Bs), but had high weighted GPAs with lots of rigor along with national/international awards and excellent arts portfolios.

I'm quite calm thanks. I just know there's a ton of posters on DCUM who make shit up. Its fine if you're not one of them, but the others likely are.
