If there is any truth to this, my guess is that high testosterone guys with deep insecurities drive fast cars and are more likely to cheat because of their low self esteem.

I befriended a married man who made a pass at me- he drove a 2001 Toyota Corolla- this was last year. He had a good job too, but I guess he was cheap.

Attempted cheater. He was unsuccessful because his car and cheapness gave you the ick? Perhaps if he made the pass and you knew he had the same good job but drive a gorgeous new Range Rover or sleek Tesla Model S you would have had a different reaction? Who knows.



No, it wasn’t the car. I wasn’t physically attracted to him and that has a way of reawakening one’s conscience. I was in a bad place emotionally at that time and probably would have slept with him if he were hotter, old car or not.

Subarus are often car of choice for rock climbing, skier/snowboarder/mountain bikers in AZ, CO, and UT. And up in NH, VT, ME, and MA.

DC might just have a different type - not sure. But also… whoever judges by car, is living an odd superficial life and probably is pretty paranoid about getting cheated on.
