many locally use AoPS, Kumon math, Mathnasium, or RSM. All of those have some time at the center and some work to bring home. Most have direct instruction.

DIY at home math usually involves Beast Academy, Kumon workbooks, or other workbooks.

Also buy a calculator and just let your kid play with it however they want to. my little one taught himself so much this way. lots of pattern recognition and other things.

also shapes are great at this age -- you can use magnatiles to explain how to make 3 dimensional shapes from 2 d shapes, etc. Draw out all the shapes.
