These fast food restaurants are going to put themselves out of business with these prices and now this ridiculous surge pricing - charge even more at the busiest times like breakfast, lunch and dinner - LOL!
It would be one thing if they sold a very nice product, but half the time the fries are half cold and the burger is slapped together like a blind person was cooking. No bueno!
There are no locations within 25 miles of DC

No need to make an irrelevant insult to blind people, who work jobs suited to their skills with appropriate accomodations for vision impairment.

That’s not it at all. The problems with the supply chain have continued to reverberate- in some places there are still legit problems, and in others the vendors got used to the higher prices.
And the franchise owners and up are still making millions.
But sure, it's because the workers are being paid more.
So, costs across the board are high, but price increases are definitely not due to labor costs. You sure about that? Did you expect franchise owners to just absorb all the cost increases? Or just labor?

I don't eat fast food often, but if I do, it's usually because we are in a rush or time crunch for some reason. If I have to now worry about surge pricing for the exact moment that my food crisis happens-I'd rather just get convience store nachos!
