Strength - peloton. I’ve done 5x a week consistently for 4 years straight.

Before the pandemic it was barre - I would do it every day at lunchtime. I am way more fit with the heavy weights now!

30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes of lifting in our basement. I'm not passionate about it, just disciplined about being healthy and I listen to books while I do it.

I do crossfit 5-6 days a week. Longish (5 miles) run 1 day per week. If I see the crossfit WOD doesn't have cardio, I'll do a 30 min interval run before or after. I sneak in a hot yoga on most weekends also. I'm a 46 year old female.

I walk with a weighted vest (10 lbs), 3 miles, 4x/week. I walk faster than my DH can jog! Sometimes yoga once a week.

Then your husband is not jogging. Just bouncing.

I'm similar- I'm up to 4 days a week with barre classes. I'd recommend getting that weights class in as I noticed more definition and strength a few weeks after adding it. I go at either 5:30AM or 6:30AM depending on the day.

I also run outside all year in all weather except ice storms and lightning. It fits in my schedule and I like being outside.

I miss competitive sports.

Ha. Same. Thought I do sort of enjoy both - certainly not passionate. I had a low back injury this year and as it's healing, these are the things that are helping.

Running outdoors - all seasons, all weather. Walking if I am injured or sick. It took me a few years to feel like I had all the gear I needed - various weights and lengths of shirts, gloves, socks. Light up vest and headlamp for short winter days, hydration pack for summer.

I traveled for work M-F for 10 years. Running is easy and I can do it almost anywhere.

Is there a 30 day at home program to get fit?

So interesting! I am the opposite - couldn't stick with peloton specifically because of the monotony, but like burn boot camp specifically because every day is different, motivates me to do it more than a couple times a week. I can totally see what you're saying, but just doesn't work for my brain.

Anonymous wrote:Burn Boot Camp 4 days a week (mix of HIIT cardio work outs and strength training), sometimes yoga on top of that but with two young kids I don't get that in as much as I'd like. I love Burn Boot Camp and highly recommend it to get a mix of things, build strength and cardio in a doable format (they have child care)

Also I do work full time, though some of it from home but I do the classes typically early morning so don't use the child care most of the time. Husband and I switch off days for morning workout basically. Only thing that has worked for me and been consistently enjoyable since having kids.
