It was his first choice so he’s disappointed. We know two other kids with similar stats who also were waitlisted, so it must have been a really tough year.
Write a letter to the school saying why you love the school/ continue to be interested/ it is your child's top choice.
If anything new for your child also write that in the letter. They won an award/ volunteer somewhere/any great updates write in the letter.
Yield may be important to them, so only really write this if your child would take the spot if given.
