can you be more specific?

Oversee the contract management tools, handle administrative relationships with law firms, maintain contract templates and playbooks, etc. At bigger companies, there are multiple people on the team.

The laws are changing so quickly right now at state, federal levels, or they just don’t exist so you really aren’t behind anyone else. Even better if you can pick up tech jargon. You can learn a lot in a year (even just an unpaid fellowship) on the Hill, federal regulator, or state AG, or an industry think tank non profit, and it can open lots of doors in the future.

Also policy/lobbying in these areas. More relationship based, but if you are top 10 law school you probably have a strong alum network to tap into.

This is incredibly unrealistic. No Hill experience, no recent work experience, and no subject matter expertise means that OP isn't going to get a lobbying or policy job.

Compliance or internal investigations at a company could work. Likely a 9-5 job. Mostly could be done remotely.
