Thank you for the moment of sanity on here. I really do enjoy trying to inform myself, but I don't know much and its hards to get basic information on here sometimes because of the trolls. If you care about the beautiful game at all just chill out and let me poeple have a forum to be novices and experts

If many who lack knowledge or valuable input didn't always feel the need to weigh-in, majority of these manure posts would die quick deaths.

This is the real issue. There's so many parents that have no clue how clubs work. But they still provide feedback.

There's also a group that stands behind their kids league as an ideology.

When someone says something negative about their ideology they respond with amazing amounts of incorrect nonsense.

This. I swear it's mostly dads and the coaches themselves trash talking each other.

There are SYC girls littered around on high level teams that played there from U-little. SYC never had a national program to offer to compete with surrounding clubs when this landscape changed around them. History is on their side, they just need to prove that they can build and maintain this program and actually showcase these teams for all to see. The rest will figure itself out.

I don't know about u-19, but VA Revolution has a team a few years below, that was mostly made up of rejects from another club's team. The coaching was good enough that they played even with that other club head to head, and finished ahead in the standings.
